BIO

Kentucky native Hayley Payne has had music in her blood for as long as she can remember. While she began her musical journey participating in the local community theater and playing piano, there was one genre in particular that tugged on her heartstrings the most – country music.

Inspired by the likes of Taylor Swift, Sara Evans, Shania Twain, Stevie Nicks, and many other songstresses, Hayley’s music is the embodiment of her heart on her sleeve. Her relatable, yet unique lyrics have been described as "little magic tricks," and her comfort on stage captures her audiences.

At 25 years of age, Hayley has graced the stages of the legendary Bluebird Cafe and The Listening Room Café in Nashville, Tennessee; the Ohio State Fair in Columbus, Ohio; the Owensboro Sportscenter and Friday After Five in Owensboro, Kentucky; The Ferdinand Folk Festival in Ferdinand, Indiana; and many more. She has opened nine sold-out shows at Lincoln Amphitheatre in Lincoln City, Indiana; including Lee Ann Womack in 2017 and Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry in 2023. Payne has also opened for country music stars Chris Janson, Drew Baldridge, Pam Tillis, Terri Clark, Suzy Bogguss, John Michael Montgomery, and Joe Nichols. Payne has joined the likes of Luke Combs and Chris Stapleton by playing the infamous Whiskey Jam showcase, as well as Lainey Wilson and Kelsea Ballerini by playing the all-female show Song Suffragettes in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2024, Hayley was invited by BMI to perform at the Key West Songwriters Festival in Key West, Florida.

A CMA Member and a finalist in the 2022 International Songwriting Competition, Hayley Payne is immersing herself in the Nashville music scene. She has been spotlighted on CMT.com, CMT Australia, Heartland, The Country Network, and many more country music platforms. Her music has been featured on Spotify’s Fresh Finds Country, New Music Friday Country, and Next From Nashville editorial playlists; as well as Apple Music Country’s Best New Songs, amassing more than 1.4 million streams from listeners all over the world. An accomplished songwriter as well, Hayley has written songs recorded by other artists including Grace Tyler, Averie Bielski, Emma Caroline, Molly Lovette, and Julia Larkin.

With an ever-growing social media presence of over 30,000 followers, she enjoys sharing her musical and personal experiences with her fans. She hopes to inspire others with her music in the same way that her favorite artists have inspired her.
